In 8 Steps to Great Digital Storytelling, Samantha Morra provides a great overview of the digital storytelling process, as shown in the following graphic.
The 8 steps Morra describes in her article are:
- Start with an Idea
- Research/Explore/Learn
- Write/Script
- Storyboard/Plan
- Gather and Create Images, Audio and Video
- Put It All Together
- Share
- Reflection and Feedback
Each of the steps is described in more detail in the article which should be helpful to both those just starting to explore digital storytelling and also those who are teaching the process to others.
