VoiceThread is a creative Web 2.0 tool that utilizes media in interesting ways. You can upload still images or video clips to the VoiceThread website and add audio comments with a microphone or even a telephone. Others who view your VoiceThread may also add their own  audio comments by using a microphone or telephone, or they may add video comments with a webcam.

WeVideo

WeVideo is a web-based video editing program that can be used to mix together images, text, audio and video clips to produce digital stories that can be collaboratively developed, shared and discussed online. Users of this web-based tool no longer need to download digital storytelling software to their computers or worry about whether they are using Macs or PCs. WeVideo may be used by anyone with a web browser and an internet connection and its customizable interface makes it a useful tool for novice to advanced computer users. In addition, WeVideo is cloud-based, which allows users to store their digital stories online, although copies may also be downloaded for off-line use.
